A2: 02 A Design Brief & Client Interview
The design brief is the starting point and the bedrock of your project. It states what you’re hoping to achieve and sets the parameters of what you expect to do. It is important to spend enough time constructing your brief because a good brief will not only guide you through the creative process, it will also allow you to evaluate how successful your project has been once it is completed.
You need to identify a client. This is normally the person who has commissioned you. You need to produce a client interview that highlights the client’s needs and analyse the outcomes with regards to the design problem.
